2nd Nature China Tour 2011 "Highlights"
First, a quick short highlight video from the trip (just finished editing w/ Final Cut X)

From the moment I landed in China I was non stop on the move. The 3 flights from ATL to Xi'an took a whole 36 hours plus the time change (12 hours ahead).
I landed Thursday night (6/16) and headed straight from the plane to 1+1 Club to check out where I was spinning Friday. The energy in the club was incredible and I was blow away.
After a good night's rest, I got a chance to tour the 2000 year old city of Xi'an and peep some of the sights with my tour guide Jackie (manager of partner club, Fantasy). After seeing the ancient sights, picking up some toys for my son, and a smooth AV check, I was ready to rock.
I can't find the words to describe the first night I played. The crowd was so receptive to everything I dropped. Two rows of people standing infront of the booth, clapping, yelling, & watching the LCD wall with my videos. Was an amazing feeling. The whole night was incredible. One of my top 5 shows for sure.
Saturday started out rough. I was exhausted after 4 hours of flight delays from Xi'an to Shanghai due to rain across the country. Either way, I was still running on adrenalin from the night before & ready to go for Shanghai.
The iClub in Shanghai was crazy dope. Packed to capacity. Huge energy, amazing sound, and a ton of fun. The local DJs where mad cool and the opener played a great set.
At the end of the night I did my usual of not sleeping and calling everyone back home on FaceTime and updating all of the social networks. Twitter, FaceBook & YouTube are blocked in China so I used Dropbox to upload photos from my iPhone, and an app on my iPad called Screens to control my Mac back at home to post.
Sunday I got up early, hit the gym, and then took a train ride with my tour guide Phone (yes, that's his name). The train was awesome, it cruised at 250k per hour (155 miles per hour). Took 45min to get to Hangzhou (2.5 hour drive back the next day).
Once we arrived in Hangzhou, straight to A/V check at Club G+. Club was SICK and I couldn't wait for the evening. After that a quick dinner. And for the record, food in China was fantastic! Very different, but a welcome change to my normal diet. Only food I didn't care as much for was the chicken, which is crazy cause it's all I eat at home. (It's served with all of the parts there).
My last night in China was just as great as the previous 3. Club G+ was packed like the rest, and the vibe was nuts. Video screens all over the place, and another huge banner with my face. I was so honored and humbled by the promotions of this tour.
I am so thankful for the opportunity to go to China and have this tour. If all works out, can't wait to return at the end of the year. A huge thank you to Spark & Cool DJ Agency for working so hard for a year to put this whole tour together!! Also a big shout to the homie Derrick Cram for linking us up.
One love!
